Gymnastics

I have finally found something Kyler is really excited about! Gymnastics! I signed both the boys up for a class sponsored by the Placer County WarmLine. It was set up for children with disabilities and their preschool-aged siblings. That fit our family perfectly. They offered 3, 4-week sessions. We were unable to participate in the 1st session, but I signed them up for the 2nd session. Little did I know how much Kyler would adore it!

Because he loved it so much and Caden was having a great time, I was able to sign them up for 3rd session as well. So they will get 8 weeks of classes. They have finished 6 weeks and have 2 more to go, but I won't be here for those as we will be gone. Thankfully our friends and Greg's mom will be taking them to those so they don't miss out.

It has been really fun to see Kyler super excited about this. He really listens and pays attention to what the teacher shows them to do and tries to everything just like he is shown. Every day he is asking me (or telling me) how many more days until gymnastics. He even gets some clothes out to wear the night before so he is all ready to go in the morning. Super cute!

I also think this has been really good for Caden. It has helped him increase his confidence. He has gained strength and stability where he was lacking. It is amazing how well he is doing. His PT even noticed he was doing better and I am sure it is because of participating in gymnastics.

What a great opportunity provided to us by the WarmLine! Thanks to them for offering such a wonderful opportunity for Caden, and also Kyler.
